We are currently looking for candidates for the position of Senior General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Operations Specialist for Legal & Integrity division. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is an EU data privacy regulation aiming to protect personal data of individuals in the EU. The regulation seeks to change the way that personal data is collected, processed and stored in order to minimise any risks associated with it. A GDPR Operations Team called Privacy Management Team, is located in Krakow and supports the implementation and execution of the regulation within the global ABB organization.
The core responsibility of the Senior GDPR Operations Specialist is to act as the interface to external and internal individuals that requires management of their personal data held by ABB, to manage the interactions and to oversee the requests across the company from receipt to response including any data changes needed in the appropriate systems.

As a Senior GDPR Operations Specialist you will:
Review and approve Record of Processing records
Conduct a Risk Assessment and Data Privacy Impact Assessment when required
Prepare Privacy Notice and Consent for data processing
Make sure the RoP records are regularly updated in case of a change in the processing activity attributes
Deal with inbound contacts from individuals requesting management of their personal data that is processed by ABB. Initiate the appropriate workflow and identify the actions needed to evaluate how the request should be routed through the organization for resolution
Document the requests and execute the process, manage all outbound interactions with the requestors to ensure quality of the resolution and best in class client experience
Interact and align with the relevant staff in ABB in relation to the performance of these tasks Contribute to the continuous improvement of the processes and work of the team
Support junior team members in their responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
+ 2 years of relevant experience in the global organization environment
Understanding of the General Data Protection Regulation in order to act as Subject Matter Expert (SME), contributing expertise to either support ongoing operations or develop the process of managing incoming requests and RoP records if needed
Professional command of English, any other European language will be an asset
Legal background or experience in data privacy and associated risk assessments in a global organization will be an asset
High level of personal integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential data
Ability to provide best in class customer experience
Strong communication skills in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment
Experience in working in a large and complex matrix organization preferred
Master degree in law
