Who we are

We are a small company located in a cosy office in the south of Wroclaw. Our main area of expertise is data warehousing and business intelligence. Main industry we specialize in is telecommunications however we provide services to many other businesses.
We established a strategic partnership with a consulting company Client Solutions in Ireland (http://www.clientsolutions.ie/). Our consultants are part of the international team working on all aspects of providing BI and other software services to customers in Ireland and UK.
We like to approach people in a very individual way. Everyone will get a chance to use their strengths in the best way possible to solve particular problem or to complete a project.

Role of a Junior BI Consultant
Each of our consultants has a direct (e-mail/phone) contact with our end customers. This requires us not only to understand the code of ETL scripts/packages or the way that tables are mapped into the attributes in the reporting platform but also to be able to speak the customers language.
You would have to be a very well organised person in order to handle incoming e-mails with new questions and queries, handle investigations of issues that require data research and code analysis. When you gain the understanding of the system you will also be responsible for developing changes in the systems we manage.
We are responsible for the operations of the data warehouses and reporting platforms so everyone needs to gain some DBA and administration skills.
This isnt all. We
are often assigned with tasks beyond our regular skillset, we need to be able to learn fast. Sometimes its setting up a new database server on a specific operating system. Sometimes it
is to do a research on a latest Big Data technology and whether its suitable for our purposes.
Our customers are located mainly in Ireland and while it doesnt happen very often you might need to show up at our customers offices. We welcome all people who are not afraid to travel.
Of course as a junior you will never be left alone with everything. There will always be someone that would help and advise.

What we require
There are three requirements that are a must have for everyone. A Computer Science (or related) background (studies), very good knowledge of SQL and at least B2 level of English language.
If given a set of tables and a business question
(list managers whose team earn the most money, list the sales person for whom the customers are the most reliable in terms of payment) you should not have a problem to find the answer. It would be great to have some data warehousing/reporting background, if not youll be requested to read Kimballs books. Every extra skill in the database/programming area would be an advantage as well as experience with various operating systems (linux/unix).

What we offer
Our standard contract is for one year after which we do a review and a salary adjustment. Our goal is to keep people for several years.
As you grow you would be given new, more senior responsibilities. There is no specific path, as long as you are proactive and showing what direction you would like to go towards we are willing to do everything to accommodate that.
You will be working with experienced colleagues from who you can learn. We ask everyone in the team who starts as junior to get certified data warehousing technologies, most likely Microsoft. We cover the expenses related to certification.
If you study we can accommodate your office time to your needs as long as you can dedicate at least 3 days a week to us.
Our work atmosphere is a mixture of focus and times when we talk and joke. We like to go out together for lunch to our local Chinese or Ukrainian restaurants (except for Thursday which is our burger day).

For our Client, international company located in Katowice, we are currently looking for SAP FI Consultant to join IT team.

Your new role
Holding this position you will be responsible for gathering business requirements, specifying and documenting them as well as securing traceability to the source. You will analyze requirements for adherence to business objectives and consistency and challenge them as appropriate. Moreover, you will write functional specifications based on given requirements, manage and implement changes together with other departments and support Business in SAP Financials related questions and incident handling. Also, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain our existing system landscape in international projects.

What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful you will need to have at least 2 years experience in one or more SAP ERP applications (Finance, Controlling, Treasury, SAP Solution Manager), strong knowledge in the area of SAP Financials and associated modules preferably GL and Profit center accounting. You need to have end-to-end investment process understanding with deep knowledge in asset accounting with regard to EAM. Also, you should hold university degree preferable in information technology or economy. Due to work in international environment you need to have fluent English language skills. You should be also open to business travel (frequency depends on the project).
